Shrewsbury Police Station

The town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts has been working to accommodate its growing population and keep up with technological advancements by improving public spaces and older buildings. The construction of their new police station is a model for the town’s changing infrastructure. Located next to their former location, they are now found in the municipal campus on Maple Avenue which also houses the Shrewsbury town hall and senior center.

As a specialist in custom millwork and cabinetry for municipal facilities, Continental Woodcraft was called in to put the finishing details on the modern construction and architectural design of the facility. When entering the lobby, you’re met with matching cherry wood paneling and trim throughout. Our team applied the wood and plastic laminate for the cabinetry and casework in addition to the quartz counter tops and raised panel doors for the kitchen cabinets which were all handmade in-house.

These finer details of the space bring the station into a new era of growth and technological advancement which the public will get to enjoy for years to come.
